Release Schedule

Paradex performs releases on all weekdays during the following window:

5:00 AM UTC / 12:30 PM SGT

Daily maintenance window

Release Sequence

During each release, the platform transitions through three modes:

CANCEL_ONLY (~2 min)

Clean state preparation before deployment.

POST_ONLY (~2 min)

Markets stabilize with maker-only liquidity.

OK

Full trading resumes.

Price Protection

Orders in CANCEL_ONLY and POST_ONLY modes must be within ±5 bps of the External Fair Price. Orders outside this band are automatically canceled.

How the External Fair Price Is Calculated

External Fair Price=Spot Oracle Price×(1+External Basis Rate)\text{External Fair Price} = \text{Spot Oracle Price} \times (1 + \text{External Basis Rate})

External Basis Rate=median⁡(Binance, OKX, Bybit, Hyperliquid, Paradex∗)\text{External Basis Rate} = \operatorname{median}(\text{Binance},\ \text{OKX},\ \text{Bybit},\ \text{Hyperliquid},\ \text{Paradex}^*)

* Paradex Basis is calculated as an EMA with a 1h half-life.
